After picking up our guests joining from the designated departure points, we begin our tour with a night journey, accompanied by brief information our guide will provide inside the vehicle.

Salt Lake / Ihlara Valley / Narlı Lake / Underground City / Avanos / Çavuşin / Fairy Chimneys

Since the entrance to Ihlara Valley is closed, provided that weather and road conditions are suitable, an excursion to Belisırma or Selime Cathedral (if the relevant sites are available) will be carried out.

We begin our journey with you, our valued guests, toward fairytale Cappadocia, known as the ‘Land of Beautiful Horses’. Following the rest stops we will take along our route, we arrive in the Cappadocia region in the morning. We take a short photo break at Lake Tuz, one of our country’s largest lakes. After the breakfast stop at the facility (optional-Extra), we begin our tour with Ihlara Valley, which welcomes us with its length of 14 km and the beauty of the Melendiz Stream flowing through it. During our walk in the valley, we have the opportunity to see the pigeon houses and churches dating back to the Byzantine Period (Ağaçaltı, Yılanlı).

Afterward, we reach Lake Narlıgöl, one of the crater lakes in our country, by vehicle. Following our photo break, a short journey takes us to the Underground City, which began to be used from the Hittite Period onward and was built by the peoples living in the region for shelter, reaching depths of up to 100 meters in places. Our tour of this city makes us feel the traces of the past. (Among the underground cities of Derinkuyu, Kaymaklı, and Özkonak, the one that is most available in terms of crowd levels will be visited.)

After our visit to the Underground City, we continue by vehicle, passing among the fairy chimneys, to the restaurant where we will have lunch, which was carved entirely into a block of rock (optional). Then, while passing through the Avanos district, we will also see the Kızılırmak River and visit the Pottery Workshop, where we can watch the traditional production of bowls and pottery made from the red clay extracted from the Kızılırmak River and shop.

After a short journey, we see the Çavuşin Ruins, which contain old settlements carved into the rocks. We visit our final stops of the day: Dervent Valley and Paşabağ Valley, where we will see the finest examples of fairy chimneys formed when the tuffs accumulated by Mount Erciyes and Mount Hasan over millions of years were carved by natural forces and used as living spaces by people throughout history. The shapes taken by the fairy chimneys will take you deep into your imagination.

After completing today’s tour, we go to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel.
