Meeting at the agency desk in the departure terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Departure at 09:25 on Ajet Airlines flight VF101 to Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. Following a comfortable flight, arrival at 10:05 local time, and after completing entry procedures, our panoramic city tour by private vehicle will include Germia Park, the Kosovo Museum, the Fatih Sultan Mehmed Mosque built by the Ottomans in the 15th century, the 18th-century Yaşar Pasha Mosque, and the tomb of Ottoman Sultan Murad Hüdavendigâr I, who was killed in the Kosovo Field as a result of the Battle of Kosovo in 1389. Following the city tour, departure for Skopje. Upon arrival in Skopje, the city tour begins. Among the places we will see in Skopje, the birthplace of our famous poet Yahya Kemal Beyatlı, are Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Murat Pasha Mosque, Kapan Han, Sulu Han, and the Stone Bridge. We continue our walk along the banks of the Vardar River, admiring the Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods located on the opposite side of the river. During this walk, Macedonia Square, the Ottoman Bridge, and Davut Pasha Hamam will be seen from the outside, after which we will enter the Turkish Bazaar. The Clock Tower, one of Skopje’s landmark monuments and built in the 16th century, Sultan Murat Mosque, built in the 14th century, and Isa Bey Mosque, also dating from the same century, will be seen, and free time will be given in the Turkish Bazaar. Following free time, an unforgettable Balkan night tour, additionally organized for guests who wish to participate, featuring unique Balkan music and cuisine and local dance shows by a folklore group, will take place. We will turn this night into an authentic experience with live performances featuring the best music and folklore of the Balkans, presented by our artists, all of whom are conservatory students and teachers, without playback. Grand Macedonia Tour Per Person: 75 Eur
During this full-day tour, which we will undertake after breakfast, we will first stop in Tetovo (Kalkandelen) to visit the Painted Mosque. We will then continue our journey to Ohrid. Upon arrival in Ohrid, our city tour begins. We will take a tour introducing the historic city of Ohrid, which was one of the important Ottoman bases in the Balkans. During the tour, we will see the Monument to Saints Cyril and Methodius, the 9th-century Byzantine monks believed to have developed the Cyrillic alphabet; the Church of Hagia Sophia; the Ancient Theatre dating from the Roman period; Samuel’s Fortress; St. Clement Monastery and St. Panteleimon Church; the Tomb of Sinan Çelebi; Plane Tree Square; the Turkish Bazaar; the Halveti Lodge; the New Bazaar; Ohrid Market; and Lake Ohrid. After the Ohrid tour, we will depart for Manastir (Bitola). On the way, we will have a panoramic view of the palace of Niyazi of Resne, one of the famous figures of the Committee of Union and Progress. Upon arrival, during our city tour of Manastir (Bitola), we will visit the Turkish Bazaar, Bedesten, Ishak Mosque, New Mosque, the Military High School from which Atatürk graduated, and the Atatürk Museum. We will then return to Skopje via Prilep. Transfer to our hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Pristina Airport. On the way, we will join the Matka Canyon Tour, organized as an optional extra for our guests who wish to participate. After the tours, we will continue our journey to Pristina. Following the boarding procedures, we will fly to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:00 on Ajet Airlines’ scheduled VF102 flight. After a comfortable and pleasant flight, arrival in Istanbul at 20:40 and the end of our tour. We bid you farewell, hoping to see you again on your next journey.
